you are rbably right, but maybe we should wait and try to fill up for exampel the siblings of Johan Tauson and see what we get there. I did it for a whie when your message came, and I think there is more work that could be done there befor decideing. Sorry for late reply!

På sid 989 så hittar du Gustaf Otto Thulin (apotek i Ystad).

I örigt ska man ju dokumentera en profil ordentligt. Det hinns inte alltid men nu har jag lagd Gustaf Ottos födelsebevis under "media". Han föddes i Ystads Sankta Maria församling och hans mor var Brita Christina Tausson."

I have a book about The Tauson Family and my family. I tried to find the relationship between Brita Christina Tauson and Johan Tauson. I'm sorry to say but I can't find any.

you seem to be right and "myHeritage" is probably partly wrong.

According to the DDSS Eliana Corvin and Johan Tauson are parents of the the children mentioned in MyHeritage but not Brita Christina.

In the churchbooks of Helsingborg there is no Brita Christina/Catharina in Maj 1762 !

However, this seems to be a very interesting case. In the churchbooks of Helsingborg (Maria) C1:4 page 197 Brita Catharina Tauson and Anders Thulin had a son Gustaf Wilhelm born June 1795. Their godfathers and mothers include among others "Rådmannen Wilhelm Rander och Anders P. Tauson.....Doctor Medicine Carl Bruzelius....".

I hope that this is an exciting story with Bruzelius and Tauson. My wife's relative Melin was just a short visitor in the family Thulin/Tauson.

However, facts are much more complicated than described in an old book about "The Tauson Family"; and the book might not contain all the truth?

Facts are in "Helsingborgs stadsförsamling (Maria) AI:1 (1709-1774) page 331" and in AI:2 (1786-1786) page 5.

In Tomt nr. 29 there are living (1786):
Johan Peter Tauson age 53

prostinnan Britta Christina Carney age 88

Britha is not in this "1786-husförhör" because she married 1783.
In between several church books are missing.

Tauson and Eliana Corvin had a daughter Britha. What a surprise.
She fits perfectly into Anders, Peters and Svens age.

I would from now on certainly call Eliana Brithas mother and rådmannen Johan her father.
Has anybody any other opinion?

Thanks to your work here we now know that Anders Thulin (1747-1821) was the father of Anders Peter Thulin (1788-1862). Anders Thulin had severeral more children.
But as usual in family research an answer to one question generates more new questions.

The next question should be:
"Who was the father/parents of Anders Thulin (born 1747)"?

In my material I have lots of more Thulin, and I think some of them can be related, too.
So - is it possible to find Anders Thulins father/parents, too?

I fully agree with Per Anders! This is the big question, who was Anders Thulin? He obviously had some good schooling in order to be a tullere and have the career he had. So he must have had parents of good means.

But I think we should move this Discussion to Anders' profile. I'll start a new discussion there.
