Just about all of us here on geni could trace all the way back to Charlemagne on so many lines. There's some lines where it takes as short as 35 generations (32 ggf), and others as long as 45 generations (42 ggf). So yeah it's pretty cool. Everyone of any European descent, if they can do so, should be able to trace their ancestry back to Charlemagne.
That is another subject. Nevermind. But who knows what is right? Both websites Geni and Wikipedia are filled in by amateur volonteers. If you really want to know something you has to study the real thing yourself. Reading books written by scolars. So some people use the wrong sources. But what sources are right. Who knows? There is not certainty. His whole roman ancestry is probably made up. Although even that is not certain. As long as you love your mam and dad everything is gonna be fine. Or love your wife or husband or children or friends.....

When I not so tired and can see straight I will post the entire line from him to me.ZIt's not showing when I go his profile and to follow it on Geni is next to impossible as their are so many other connections from other people, that it gets confusing not to mention the name are no longer in English ,which again can confusing to me. I think and I have said this before, when you go into your end of the tree it should automaticly go to the langure you can read. It would make it so much esier to back track from say someone like Chalemagne to yourdelf. Now if you start from you and back up that way and use the other tree chart that only shows yoy you might make it alright.
