Leonard Jr. Cagle - Adam Cagle/Leonard Cagle

We have been unable to document a connection to Leonard Cagle in our family tree. Adam is our gg-grandfather born about 1803...his father was George Cagle. Even if Adam was born in 1794, it would be unlikely (not impossible) that Leonard was his father at age 14. Does any one have documentation for a connection to Leonard in this line. We show Leonard as a brother to George (b. 1750)--Leonard b. 1742.
