Of course we have projects down to the town level for Massachusetts and Connecticut for the early settlements, but we also have projects for Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Indiana, New Jersey, and other states, sometimes down to the county level.
I have just found more pioneer ancestors / relatives. Families would start in Massachusetts, say Barre, Worcester County like my Underwood ancestors and then move to Ohio, say Geauga County, and from there on to Illinois and Iowa.
We probably need an umbrella project for all the state / county pioneer projects. I think we do have state umbrella projects although I'm not sure if they are really fully leveraged.
I worked on (1) Indiana, (2) Oregon, (3) Southern NJ, (4) Colorado and of course Mass and CT. Also Virginia. I have relatives / ancestors who went to Pennsylvania (Scotch-Irish who then went South to Virginia and then westward to other Southern states), Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas.
If you have a pioneer project or want to start one, share here.
