The sources and portrait belong to George WYTHE (1726-1806), not George WYATT (c1620s-after 1699?).

There may or may not be a genealogical connection, but it's still the wrong person.

Now, why didn't he turn up in a straight name search, and why did I have to search on "wythe" alone to find him?
