I am researching my paternal side of the family and have run across a snag. I am trying to figure out if the son of Samuel Coy (1782-1833) used both names of William David Coy and David William Coy. Or did he use some form of these two. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Cynthia, All the information that I have is that Samuel Coy's father went by David William Coy. In case you are wandering, David William and Mary Ann ( Dennis) Coy,Sr. were the parents of Sarah "Sally" Coy who married William Cornelius Anderson, they were my Gr Gr Gr Grandparents.
