Is Phoebe actually Solly's wife?

Anthony John Davis has queried the status of Phoebe Carlow as Solomon Barnato Joel wife:
According to Stanley Jackson, a Barney Barnato biographer, Solly married Ellen (Nellie) Ridley around 1889. Was Phoebe Carlow a second marriage?

Anthony John Davis replied: Phoebe may have been a 2nd wife, but I have found nothing in my research so far about her. I have not been looking at the Joel family in any detail, so she may have been a wife at some point.
We could start a discussion, certainly there are a number of mistakes in the Barnato tree.
