alice ware (martin) - Marriage and 'Who was Alice Martin'

Marriage of James Ware and Alice Martin occured 1836 in Maitland.

I have conflicting ancestry for Alice Martin.

1. She was born in Brecon, Wales but I have no proof, no immigration records, no parent names, etc
2. She was born in Singleton, NSW but there is no NSW birth record, no parent names, etc. Her death certificate in 1875 only indicates she was 75 yo.
3. Many other leads such as landed in WA circa 1830, a house maid to the Martins in the upper Hunter and may have taken their name, etc

Can anyone provide some evidence of 'who was Alice Martin'
