Walter Henry Powell and son Sidney G Powell

Walter Henry Powell, brother of John Wesley Powell, the famous explorer, went to South Africa in about 1871 / 1872. I am looking for any living family of this tree.
I am Hugh James Grant Powell. My father was Hugh James Garfield Powell. His father was Arthur Garfield Powell. His father was John Alexander Clement Powell (b 1874 in Port Elizabeth). His father was Walter Henry Powell (b 1842 Jackson Ohio). His father was Joseph Powell (b +/- 1805 Shrewsbury England) . It is said that the father to Joseph is George Powell, but I did also see James Powell. I think George is the father. I am looking for any family in America that are children or related to Sidney G Powell. John Alexander Clement Powell and Sidney George Powell where brothers. Sidney was born in Port Elizabeth South Africa and returned to America during the boer war that broke out in 1899. Sidney married Charlotte Ruessler in Illinois. The lived in Du Page.
Sidney and Charlotte had children. Sidney, John, Phoebie, Virginia and Lottie (Charlotte) there maybe others. Virginia married Edwin R Hauenstein and lived in Chicago, Cook Illinois. Please if anyone could be of assistance. Greatly appreciated. hughpowell@webmail.co.za
