GARRETT, JAMES, 89, of Wartburg died Sept. 26, 1962. He was the last of ten children of William Hines and Martha Cromwell Garrett, decendents of pioneer settlers of Morgan County. Preceded in death by his wife Anna Stringfield Garrett. Survived by his daughter, Ethel Marie Garrett Langley and four sons; Luther, Harry and Elijah all of Wartburg and Guy of Gobey. Also 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Burial in Elizabeth Cemetery. ( Morgan County News)
