Caroline Harris Richmond (Rogers) - Caroline's parents

Do you have a source for that assertion? There are other assertions for her parents, but none that I've seen to date that are backed by anything. Would be much obliged to have something reliable (a primary or reliably sourced secondary source) to go by for her parents. -Ben.

I have been researching this family of my wife's for forty years. I recieved information from a great granddaughter of Oliver Farwell Rodgers, a brother to Caroline. She also had visited Reading several times. From the information that she gave to me, I was able to locate where all of the family lived later in their lives. Also the guardianship papers for Marstin's children after his wife, Phebe died are shown below:

Be it remembered that at a Probate Court holden at Windsor on the 17th day of March Anno Domini, 1815 before the Hon. William Hunter esq Judge: Benoni Buck of Reading is appointed guardian-of Patty Rodgers, Caroline Rodgers, and Sally Rodgers all minors under the age of fourteen years, residing in Reading, children and heirs of Marstin Rodgers late of Reading aforesaid deceased, who accepts the trust and gives bonds as the law directs.
