How can Izsak's second wife Fanni (Horn) Rosenzweig be added to the mix.
Isak, according to research and recollections of relatives had two wives. Regina (Millisch) who died in 1883 and Fanni Horn who he married December 25, 1883. Her parents were Jozsef and Betti (Goldman) Horn.
This explains how Regina Millisch's timeline shows her death in 1883 yet her having several more children beginning in 1884.
Fanni's children are the last six on Regina's timeline:
Regina Henry (my grandfather) Irma Bela Jeno Geza
Anne, I just looked at my tree and for some reason there are too many family members. Jacob had 8 by his first wife (Regi) and 6 by his second (Fani). My great grandmother was the youngest of the first 8. For the moment there is plenty of redundancy on the tree of Isaac's offspring. I will try to sort this out when I get a chance (working at the moment). Meanwhile, great to hear from yet another cousin. Where are you located? I am in Naples, FL and Cousin Bob Hanscom is in MA.
I live near Tampa (Florida). My parents moved down here three years ago to be near us. Much of what I have is information from my father and his cousins (particularly Eleanor Gentile - she and my father were close in age and maintained a friendship and shared memories) I also have a mimeo copy of "The Goldstein Hagaddah" from another cousin Fran Stein who corresponded with my father briefly in putting together a family history for what seems to me like a 1995 reunion of some sort.
David - is it possible he corresponded with you in 1995? I have copies of letters from him to a "Lucille" and "David" - no last names mentioned. They reference a photo "Uncle Nat (my favorite uncle) took with his camera of Irwin and myself"
@Bob Hanscom, thanks for checking and for adding more on the Horns. @Anne Ross , I was the organizer of the Goldstein reunion, Passover 1992 in Philadelphia; 95 people were there. The Hagaddah was written by my great Aunt Lucille Barrett (who now lives in Philly). Irwin was my father, Nat was my grandfather who married Rose Goldstein, daughter of Jacob G and his wife Sara Rosenzweig (both immigrants). We had another reunion in Baltimore some years after that but I don't recall the exact year. That was organized by Lucille, her sister Toodie and myself. Some of the Israeli cousins joined us for that. Arthur was present for one of them but I can't recall which--is he still alive and well?
