I have recently uploaded some wonderful family videos from the 1950s with maybe 20-30 relations appearing in just 7 minutes of footage.
I really like the system that Geni has in place for identifying individuals in photos but the system for videos does not seem nearly so useful.
One option that i am considering is starting a Project page which describes what happens in each of the 6 videos then linking the videos to the project. Each video would then have a list of the people that were in it. Then there is the option that i could create "Photos" for the project by taking single frame images from the videos and connecting them also to the project which would let us identify each person in a particular frame.
It seems like a lot of effort though so i'm hoping there is some tool or trick that others have discovered?
