Hiski is the website for online parish records of Finland.
It can be used in Finnish, English or Swedish.
It's pretty comprehensive back to the mid 1600s

and FREE!
:)

There are no marriage records (at least not on Hiski) for Juva in that time period so it's not really possible to know WHICH Anna Purain this is.
(i found two Anna's born in 1730 and 1723 but she could have been from another parish).
I'll look have a dig around tonight and see if i can find more.

It looks like Juditha had at least 4, maybe 5 siblings:

Born Christened Village Father Mother Child
*17.3.1750 19.3.1750 Wechmais Joh: Keinäin Anna Purain Anna
*10.5.1754 17.5.1754 Wehmais Joh: Koivistoin Anna Purain Johannes
*27.4.1755 11.5.1755 Wechmais Joh: Kåivistoin Anna Purain Juditha
*6.5.1757 19.5.1757 Wechmais Joh: Kåivistoin Anna Purain Eva
*25.6.1761 2.7.1761 Wechmais Joh: Kåifwuin Anna Purain Maria
*9.6.1764 11.6.1764 Wehmais Joh: Kåifwistoin Anna Purain Walborg

Two possible Anna Purain are:
Born Christened Village Father Mother Child
*20.5.1722 15.6.1722 Lars Purainen Gertrud Pöndyn: Anna
*26.5.1730 10.6.1730 Kyrkiob: spögub: Hartvig Purainen Valb: Punduises Anna

If i had to GUESS i would say it is the 1730 record, which would make her 1 year younger than her husband.
Also the mother's name is Valborg which could be linked to the name of Anna's youngest daughter Walborg (1764).
It's a GUESS but presumably the eldest daughter Anna (1750) is named for her mother (Anna 1730), Johannes (1754) is named for his father (Johan 1729), Juditha (1755) is named for her paternal grandmother (Judith 1704).

POSSIBLE aunts and uncles of Anna Loviisa:

*7.2.1741 14.2.1741 Kyrkioby Hartvick Purain Walb: Pundas Elisab:

"kyrck: vächt:" and "spö gubben" are descriptions of Hartvich's social position but the best translation i can get is from Swedish "spö gubben"="rod man"??

We can see that his father's name was Anders but i can't find anymore about him.

Hartvich Andersson Purainen, birth circa 1700.

Kyrkväktare, kyrkvaktmästare: Sexton (office) : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexton_(office)

Also in church, usually a “klockare” (Finnish: Lukkari) led the singing while a “spögubbe” was “responsible for the entertainment”, i.e. literally being the rod-man responsible for keeping order amongst the youngsters in the church bleachers.

Tack Olav!

Tack så mycket:):)
