Is there a story to the name?

with adjective like these I like to place them between not brackets, nor "" but only ', for
* brackets are for secrets
* "'..."' are for citations
and
* ' ....' is in our culture of publications a way to state that it's about some sort of a nick-name or ALIAS. groet, jMVU

The summer sun seems to be making your sense of humour very dry.

Pure is plural of turkey (female) or genitive singular...good question...how to interpret?

Private User

Not likely in this case - Tuka is the word used in Dalmatica for Turkey

Pure might be from Pura - polenta

yes, you are right...mmm..oh to be called "polenta" !

What? I like polenta.

polenta is rice, isn't it? Or the Italian expression for pasta? the origine of those receipts is rather different, so maybe we should make a project about 'original feeds' ? groet, Jeannette.

I can vouch for jM-Vu on the general agricultural agenda, in Europe, for producing corn for feed of livestock and not generally, for human consumption.
;-)
I am certain, there was no "pun" or anything personal, intended.
