go to profile, click edit, click make public. then you can add them

That's alright Noeline. I haven't figured out how to do anything. If I have added a profile by luck, I have no way of finding out, as the list of settlers seems to be a totally random one.

thr list is in of order of when they were added to the project, i cant arrange them alphabetically, but hopefully geni will let me do that at some point.

Yes alphabetical would be good when possible.
Still not sure about tags though. Are they extra markers once a profile has been added to pioneer project eg a cross reference to ship?

yes you can mark them as pioneers and then mark them to the ship they arrived on. ive added several dozen shipping lists and can add more if you need certain ships added. im working from the earliest arrived ships first.

heres an example. the William Bryan. every passenger has been added to geni and most of them are connected to the big tree

Also I see no names under passenger list for Lancashire witch - is this because none have yet been added to project for this particular ship yet?

some ships ive added i havent been able to find a shipping list for, but ive found people that came on them, my dalzell ancestors came on the lancashire witch, ill have to fil it out more at some point.

if you want to add more ships just go to projects and click "create project" then make a project with the name "New Zealand Settler Ships - <name of ship> <year it arrived>

also you have to join each ship project in order to add people to them

Well I managed to create a project but spelt Lancashire Witch as Wotch and can't edit the name - can you ? Or can I delete this project to start again?

Thanks but I really stuffed up! Please remove Bridget Flynn from this ship, I have added her correctly to the ship Amoor.

Have deleted Bridget now.
