My grandfather Frederick Lancaster, was awarded a medal for bravery, we have the citation, his details: 7tgnr (a/bomber F Lancaster. 3rd bty SAf fd arty. SA/68 and L.G. 30660. all this info is on the note signed by Winston Churchill. There is also a Mr AR Hosking who apparently recommended him.
If any one can help me verify this info, I would really appreciate it.
