I would like to know if there's any way to delete people from showing up as being related to family members. My nephew would like to delete his wife and family from showing up.

He can hide them from his profile by clicking edit in the immediate family section.

If they are divorced he can change the status to divorced and if there are no children involved he can ask a curator to cut the connection between them.
