My congregation in Massachusetts has a Czech Torah with an inscription in German engraved on silver bands on the etzium that translates "Dedicated by Isaac & David Wallisch". I have nothing on David Wallisch except that he was the "mayor" of the community and was married to Johanna Wallisch (that was her maiden name). Isaac was the "keeper of the alms box", married to Cacilie Wallisch (maiden name) and they had 2 children. Their son, Joseph was married to Helene Stern, had 2 children & died in 1919 & is buried in Zanim. The daughter, Breta, married Alexander Pollak. I believe that Isaac & David married each others sisters in a double wedding as they celebrated their "Silver Wedding" together in Schaffa in 1892. Isaac and his wife are buried in Vienna. There are descendants of Isaac living in Prague, Israel & the Netherlands.
If anyone has any more information on this family, I would appreciate hearing from you. My email is lggrn@comcast.net
I have the same information on this family. (Linda, did I get it from you?).
The only other information I have is a @Betti Max married to @Adolf Wallisch. Betti's family was from Schaffa. (See other profiles affiliated with Betti.)
According to IKG burial data Betti and Adolf were born in 1857 and 1851, respectively, and died in 1941 and 1935. They were buried in the same grave in Vienna.
There's also a stone in the Safov (Schaffa) graveyard with the name Rosa Wallisch.

Unfortunately, the descendants I have been in contact with didn't even know about Isaac until I told them so I doubt they'd know if Rosa or Adolf are related which does seem probable to me. They do not seem to be interested in pursuing further research into their ancestors.
The only information I can add is Joseph's gravestone states he was born 9th VI 1869 (is that the 9th day of June?) and died 28th III 1919. There was an announcement of his death in the Znaim paper naming his entire family, including in-laws. There is also an announcement of Isaac/Isak's death that lists his family. Someone sent it to me & I don't know if it is from a paper in Vienna or Schaffa/Znaim. Isak had to register when he moved to Vienna in 1923.
Additionally, there was a 1911 census in Znaim and I have copies of the forms for both Isack and David. They were living in the same house & moved to Znaim in 1903 (David & Johanna) and 1904 (Isak & Caciia). I would think David & Johanna were buried in Znaim but have no way to find out. I also don't know if they had any children.
An additional Wallach (different spelling, probably different family) buried in Vienna is Bertha, died 1923-11-10. The picture is on Genteam.at. I can not read it.
