Thomas Kennedy (1516-1547) is listed as husband of Catherine Flick (born 1830!) and father of Thomas Kennedy , II, born 1648!

Thank you Erica, now it makes sense!
I was informed by Geni that I'm related to John F Kennedy, so I had to check it out - and yes, if I go back some 18 generations there is a mutual forefather!
