adding profiles and privacy

i NEVER use profile view to add new profiles, always tree view. one of the reasons being that one can only add a first and last name.
but today for some reason i couldn't add parents in tree view and to use profile view and discovered that any profile you add this way is automatically living (email address) and private.
i think Geni should change into deceased and public.

i guess this might be one of the reasons why there are unintended private profiles.

Rvk - I'm on IPad and can "only" add from profile view - and then edit to public / deceased.

Needless to say I've made a few zombies by mistake.

Would you consider opening a feature request on the Help platform? If you do so, then post the link back in this discussion, others of us can vote "me too."

Increasingly we're mobile users! I love the iPad ....
