Want to do a merge, but I don't want to intrude on private profiles and I'm not sure the merge can be completed.

"Abandoned Tree" is an option, but I got the error message "Unable to find a replacement manager".

Here's the intended merge:

Because the profile I added is out of my "Privacy range", he went on the tree as "Public" (despite being very recent) and I don't have the option to change that.

Actually, I have the same problem with four profiles:

James Benjamin Stockett

Arabella Stockett

Emily Stockett

James Benedict Stockett

They have active matches which cannot be completed because one profile is public and one is private, and because the private profiles have apparently been totally abandoned.

Recommendations?

Curators can complete these kinds of merges & have so done.
