Robert Southwell born age 62 Columbia County, Wisconsin, Betty Southwell age 68, Columbia County, Wisconsin, Joseph Southwell, age 38, as above and Jane Southwell age 35 as above.
Details Robert Southwell supplied on his American Naturalisation Papers are:
Robert Southwell- son of Richard and Susannah Southwell (nee Holmes) of Tydd St Mary, Lincolnshire.
1860 Wisconsin Census - Robert Southwell - head of family and Betty Southwell.
Robert, his wife Elizabeth, and their daughter Sarah Southwell followed Joseph Southwell (thier son) and emigrated to USA in circa after 1851, as Robert & Betty appear on 1851 Census of Hook, Wimblington, Cambs.
Robert & Betty are found in Wisconsin in 1860 where Joseph (son) and others had moved in circa 1854. It appears the SOUTHWELL family arrived in Lodi (USA) circa 1854. Joseph Southwell married Jane Morter

Joseph and wife Jane (Morter/Mortar) seem to have left this area and migrated to Nebraska. Robert & Betty remained in Lodi, Wisonsin. Robert passed away in 1871 at Lodi, Columbia Co, Wisconsin. I would love any information on Betty.

Joseph Southwell, age 48, Burt County, Nebraska. Miler Southwell, age 10, as above. (?) Did they have a son Miler?? or should this be MILON Southwell. Sarah H Southwell age 12, as above. William Southwell, age 14, as above.

Joseph immigrated to USA about 1850 where he eventually passed away. He was followed to the USA by his parents - Robert & Betty and his sister Sarah. He married in 1851 -Ohio, then moved to Wisconsin. Marriage record - Ohio Obit - Lyons Mirror 1913 Immigrated to Ashtabula 1850 1854 moved to Lodi, WS LSD microfilm #0566023, item #1 Baptized in 1823.
Sarah Southwell, dau of Robert & Elizabeth, of Wimblington Cambs., labourer. Sarah appears on the 1870 US Federal Census - see Daniel Golden.
Sarah Southwell married Daniel Golden in 1856, Saybrook, Ahtabula Co., Ohio. They have 3 children: Mary E, William and Nancy Matilda.
Damiel Golden and Sarah(Southwell) Golden appear on the 1870 US Federal Census: Daniel Golden age 36, Ashtabula, Ohio. Sarah Golden age 35, Ashtabula Ohio. also: Mary E age 11, Ashtabula. William age 7, Ashtabula. Nancy M age 2, Ashtabula.
Robert & Betty (Elizabeth) mentioned above are Direct Descendants of mine and I am mainly researching their daughter Susannah Southwell b 1830 and her descendants at present.
