I don't see anything on her grave itself that says she was born in Michigan; I only see that on her FindAGrave page at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=6844809&a.... The pages on FindAGrave are added by volunteers and are pretty notorious for having mistakes on them, so I would trust your official record and her personal papers.
Will I am glad we caught it. I found more trees last night or should I say branches on my Mom's stuff. Plus a plethora of pictures. With Mom being a photographer and a WAC she left boxes of stuff from the war and before and after it. They really need to be mounter and not thrown in a box. What do I use to mount them? Plus I have another problem most of them I am sure the kids won't want. They most likely will get ruined. A lot of the pictures also go back to my GR grandparent also before the 1900 hundreds. I know Mom donated a lot of her stuff during WWII to the Women's Museum in D.C. Is there any Idea you might have that can be done so that they don't get pitched.
