I don't want to come off as a discussion-nazi (lord knows I hate being policed), because I understand that we get excited to see who we are related to, but can we save the public discussions for genealogical research? There are many threads created in the public forums, that can't really be "discussed." This is more of a "share," than it is a discussion. If you would like to share your lineage and your relationships, please share that in your status update on Geni or click the links to "share the short path" or "share the long path" on your Facebook or Twitter.
Most of us who have 5,000 in our Ancestry on our own profiles are probably descendents or distant blood relatives of the great ancestors of the 12th and 13th centuries.
When we share our ancestors and connections to various profiles by creating new discussions, we bury really important public discussions from members who need help from curators and other members of Geni.com.
Thank you in advance.

Send me a collaboration request! I love new folks and new trees.
