Jan Jansz van Rensburg - also wonder about the dates and age

His my 9th great grandfather. He died pretty young to these estimates - perhaps he had an illness and new he was dying and therefore had a child so young? Just giving wings to my imagination though :-)

I would love to know what is really happening here though - where are these estimated dates coming from - what source?
