(I'm not at all meaning to imply you did anything wrong; just that your name was attached a data conflict between Scott & South names, which means somewhere along the way someone apparently incorrectly merge a Daniel Scott profile where you were the primary manager with this Daniel South profile.)

hello, I have gone over my South info and come up with no surname of Scott, I have not completely researched my South line, most of the info I have came from a cousin of my grandmothers who researched my Bain line and attached lines over 40 yrs ago, I have done some research on my South line, all the children of Daniel and Susannah listed above are the same as what is in my database, but no Scotts. Daniel and Susannah are my 6th great grandparents, by the way the Scotts are also showing up on my 5th great grandfathers profile (Thomas South) as siblings,

I'm pretty sure it was an incorrect merge which "dragged along" the Scott children ... and would, of course, make them show up as siblings of the South children, too.

Once we find the place to re-attach the Scotts properly, all should be fine.
