you can try ancestry.com OR familysearch.org (familysearch.org is free)

I basically just found names in my tree and was able to trace it to the Presley family. We are only VERY distantly related.

You can also try http://bapresley.com/presley/vol5no1/

I looked for my ancestor's name (who had the last name of Presley) in these newsletters and found him.

And you can always Google any names you have. The internet is a good source.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

I´ve located this Presley line from MS. and then later, Texas.
This particulare Presley is also born in the same year, in the same State as Elvis´ Grandmother.
I am also, a 13th and 16th cousin, per Geni to date... but this Presley line, would bring him a bit closer (as their children are my 2nd cousins).

Here´s the line I am referring to >
John Carroll Presley

Here´s Elvis´ Grandmother´s Profile>
Rosella Elizabeth Presley

of course, I´m trying to make the family connection, to this branch, as well.

he is dead not alive, and his middle name was AARON not aron, by the way.

Elvis' birth and death certificate spelling for his middle name was Aron, as well as Aron being put on Elvis' sympathy cards at his funeral; his grave says Aaron per his spelling preference

No. The name is aaron. I have a book who says it was wrongly spelled. Do not argue with me or shall i contact persons who knew elvis in person? It is aaron. I have a book elvis from a to z. There they write the name was spelledtotally wrong. When he was born by the doctor. Contact charlie stone or george klein. Bye

So official documents like Elvis' birth and death certificate, high school diploma, RCA record contract, and marriage license is not valid sources, but a printed book is?

The relevant Wikipedia footnote:

The correct spelling of his middle name has long been a matter of debate. The physician who delivered him wrote "Elvis Aaron Presley" in his ledger.[2] The state-issued birth certificate reads "Elvis Aron Presley". The name was chosen after the Presleys' friend and fellow congregation member Aaron Kennedy, though a single-A spelling was probably intended by Presley's parents in order to parallel the middle name of Presley's stillborn brother, Jesse Garon.[3] It reads Aron on most official documents produced during his lifetime, including his high school diploma, RCA record contract, and marriage license, and this was generally taken to be the proper spelling.[4] In 1966, Presley expressed the desire to his father that the more traditional biblical rendering, Aaron, be used henceforth, "especially on legal documents".[2] Five years later, the Jaycees citation honoring him as one of the country's Outstanding Young Men used Aaron. Late in his life, he sought to officially change the spelling to Aaron and discovered that state records already listed it that way. Knowing his wishes for his middle name, Aaron is the spelling his father chose for Presley's tombstone, and it is the spelling his estate has designated as official.[4]

Like all Elvis matters, this has been extensively researched....
