The authors of the "The Origins of Benjamin Nye," all of whom have had articles published in genealogical journals, sought verification using original English documents for all statements of birth, marriage, and death. Sadly, we discovered that many of the statements prior to the publication of our article were bogus, speculative, or undocumented.
There are many books that state that Benjamin Nye was born on such and such a date. None, to our knowledge, cite an authentic original source.
No authenticated original document has been found for the birth of Benjamin Nye!
