I am looking for the proper citation format for birth surnames and will try to conform the profiles I am in charge of to that. My instinct is that it should be listed as: given name, birth surname, (married surname) e.g.: "Letitia Humphrys (Twigg) so that no matter how many times a person was married it would always be clear what their surname was when they were born. But I don't know yet whether this is correct or if the accepted form is the other way round.
Thank you so much for all your great work Bruce! I really do appreciate all the hard work you've put into our family tree, and all the connections you've discovered are truly fascinating.
I've noticed that there are newly a lot of names of managers of specifically the line from Paul O'Brien Twigg/Humphreys, and I was wondering if these are people you've added and what their connection is?
I can see Matilda Humphreys married an Archdale, and there seem to be a lot of people descended from her.
Considering all these people are relatives of Paul O'Brien Twigg's marriage to Leticia Humphreys Twigg (our Grandma May O'Brien Twigg's great Grandpa, May being our Mother's mother), they are our relatives by that blood. I sure would be curious to see how they are all related to us.
Are any of them interested in that?
Thanks so much again for all you are doing my brother, it is a very important family story, and one I am so grateful for, especially for my darling Daughter Jaime B.
Much love, sis,
Lisa H.
