Recent Activity - Not Showing what it should, or ??

That Activity (see above) never did show up under Activity on my Home Page, nor under Activity on my Profile -- shouldn't I see it at least under Activity on my Profile - it was certainly Activity I did -- and if I shouldn't see it, why not??

Lois sometimes the networks & servers aren't as speedy as we'd like - I have seen big variety without it being a bug (events queued up etc).

I'd give it a couple of hours and then if persisting post a link by PM to you know who for trouble shooting.

my second post was almost 48 hours after the first one - ie well over 40 hours after the updating took place. Shouldn't that have been enough time? This is now yet another day later, still no sign of the Activity in either Recent Activity on Home Page nor Activity on my Profile.

This is definitely not the first time I have noticed this issue.

Erica - Is it your understanding that these Activities SHOULD have shown on Recent Activity? Or is there some criteria determining what activities will be shown? Also - why do you feel it would be better to PM, rather than tag here, or ??

1) tagging the profile for trouble shooting - you mentioned it was private so no one else but you & Geni staff could view it anyway - if it's a public profile "another pair of eyes" can look & confirm

2) l an really bad with "rules," so I never can answer without a link so I can look / see. But no, it does sound like there's an issue on that particular profile anyway

In case it's not clear, it's not a problem I have noticed on profiles I've worked with this week. I don't check the "activity" tab of the profile frequently but I do look for it on my "home page" activity & all has been as expected.

Mike Stangel -as mentioned above, I updated 3 profiles on May 28 - they are all Private Profiles of which I am a manager, and which I am following - but not in my Max Extended Family. This updating shows on Revisions on my Home Page, but NOT under Recent Activity on my Home Page, nor the Activity Tab on my Profile.

Thinking more -- I suspect the problem may be that they are outside my Max Extended Family, so do not qualify for padlock-listing - AND are not Public, so do not qualify for Public Listing. And those are the only two options, I think. Is this a bug, a possible shortcoming in the program design?? Or is it how Geni wants it to be (and is that your decision, or who should be asked about that)??
