Am I the only one who finds it puzzling that Sir Thomas Bryan and Lady Margaret Bryan named two of their daughters Elizabeth Bryan? They are almost 20 years apart in age which could reduce any confusion but is there an explanation why the parents made that choice? Forgetful?

Probably needs some Geni work. The best way to do this is

1) source the profile
2) identify where anyone needs to be moved to by profile link (the URL)

Oh -and there are many siblings with same names, even if 20 years apart (one died?)

I recently worked on a Tudor era family where I am not joking, Father Thomas married 3 times, had a surviving son he named Thomas by each wife.

The youngest did change his name to Francis at confirmation.

Considering both Elizabeth Bryan's were married to rather famous husbands I don't doubt the genealogy but it just struck me as odd. Their father, Sir Thomas, is my 11th GGF so the oddity seemed more important than usual. I need to read more about the Tudor era.
