William Henry Seward, Gov., Sen., Sec. of State - DNA testing

My husband is proven direct line to Lt. William Seward of CT. We are willing to pursue DNA testing with a proven direct link male to William H Seward (Sec of State), if anyone is willing. A y-DNA test would do it. Perhaps we can scientifically answer the question of lineage.
