For many years John Dunbar of Hingham, MA, was thought to be the same John Dunbar of New Haven, CT. However, recently it has been discovered that the MA Dunbars are not related to the Connecticut Dunbars. The John Dunbar of New Haven was first married to an unidentified "Anne". Secondly, John Dunbar of New Haven supposedly married an Abigail Norton Beers. John Dunbar of Hingham also married an Abigail Norton. They both married an Elizabeth Beecher.
I would really like to know who this John Dunbar is that married Anne. Who is Anne? When and where did they come from?
