I work in the oil and gas industry and come across Wolfe Beren's companies leases all of the time in Marietta Ohio and Pleasants county West Virginia. His family was very successful in the first oil and gas boom in Ohio. They were the only members of a lithuanian orthodox synagogue in Marietta Ohio. The Adolph Beren House is a beautiful architectural gem here in the River city. Its address is 629 3rd Street. Google Maps street view gives you a pretty good view of it.
The Beren Family is buried in a small jewish portion of Marietta's Oak grove cemetery.
