Mr. Melmed is also managing part of my family tree and as a result, messed up. There are double branches, half-sisters and brothers, etc. While he may have a few more facts on 2 or 3 individuals, it is worthless if it is not properly appropriated. I'm all for merging so long as it is done properly.
If you all need help, let me know. Usually it's just a matter of some merges that need to be completed. While it looks messy, it's not that bad to clean up.
