Private and other managers. What is the position with this guy being made the SV generation, when he comes as a child on the boat with his parents. Surely his father is the SV?

I honoustly don't know where the father came on but the son Mattias as shown in all my sources as SV. But it will be interseting to find out more.

Did you have a look at the sources I have send you?

In all cases he is the Prog and not his father Francois. Or am I missing something?

Love

Yes, he is - I see that. That's why I was querying it. Interesting.

His father: François Guilliaumé from Languedoc, France arrived at the Cape from Berlin, Germany, in 1726 on board the 'Berbice'.
He travelled with his wife, Claudine Eloy – born in Bordighera, Ligurië, Italy, and their children Mathieu, Jeanne, Marie & Anne.
The VOC sent him at the request of the Cape government for people who could promote the silk industry. The enterprise, however, failed.

Not a big thing to make them both SV Progs, I suppose. I'll await further instructions though. I'm just busy logging them all as French Huguenot settlers on the French Huguenot Project (Finally got back to it :-).
