Just wanted to post a reminder to remove profiles from this project when you've claimed them. It looks like some of us have periodically been forgetting to do that. :)

Bumping this up again as a reminder. People are forgetting again. :) It's hard to tell now which profiles are actually seeking a new home and which ones have just not been removed from the project.

I ditto this request - I have been accused of taking over curatorship from others - I do not take over curatorship unless invited or the profile is listed in that project.

If there are no notes I add them to the about section if there is already a curator in place - so where I have added a curator note and become a curator it is because there was no curator.

This is something I am very careful about - and if I inadvertently do replace a curator I contact them to explain and ask them to re-instate themselves. Which is something others have done in the reverse situations.

Perhaps I have slipped up along the way, in which case I would hope that the curator concerned would get in touch with me.

I am quite happy for people to takeover Curatorship on any profiles I have MP'd - housekeeping the issues on these profiles takes up considerable time. So just ask.

Sadly there are many MP's with no notes or photo.

Late reply, but: don't let it bother you, Private User. We *all* make mistakes like that and will do so again in the future, and it isn't malicious or the end of the world. If anyone makes you feel bad again, just find some way to blame it on me and I'll take the heat for you. ;)

Really, it's not something to be mad at each other for. We're all just trying to help. We should always assume people have good intentions. And ultimately, as long as a profile is being cared for, everything is okay.

Private User - thank you! Try to live by the "don't sweat the small stuff" but not everyone has the same mind-set!
