The article poses that Pres Gloria Arroyo is a distant cousin to Pres Aguinaldo via her GGM Escolatica Romero. Does anyone know how they connect?

according to my aunt, pres. aguinaldo used to call lolo leopoldo primo. they were then cousins but not that close

also, in this brandh, one of the great great grandsons of lolo leopoldo married celine aguinaldo, who is a direct descendant of pres. aguinaldo
