Mike have already asked the curators for more input on problems we have observed because he had got an alert from their monitor system without any specific indication on what was causing this. I guess he will start digging into it when he get to work.

You can enter edit profile in Profile view even if the spinner runs since that link is active enters a new web page where the elements that are loaded in the background is not included on that page.

The time it takes until a profile is completely loaded varies a lot, but is better today compared to earlier this weekend.

The list of recently visited and followed profiles as an example, - it used as a quick look-up when you start to type anything in the search box.

Private User, I agree with you, only when the wheel -you call it spinner- stops it's time to stop your coffee-break and continue geni-efforts again... But I have the 'solution' -working on a screen that is quite big enough- to open geni on another profile or project and work there while my coffee is becoming cold in the waiters-room.

I don't have any problems here.

Time to cleaning your browser cache and probably http://www.geni.com/login/clear_cookies as well?

Rvk I find that the "load" has several different issues

1) my own Internet connection (which varies)
2) the server load on the Geni servers (that is, how busy they are)
3) the underlying links - within & without Geni (for instance, the location lookup)

My experience is that Geni team is very quick to respond on 3 but may not always tell us. :(
