I would like to know my family hidtory. I live in Australia. I do remember him as a child of four. A dour man.

Name Bumburs reminds me of Bumbeer, the maiden name of Elvira who married Juris Taube same month as my grandmother Elza Taube died. If interested, I can tell more.

Actually, Nikolaja baznica zinas, Jelgava 19 Dec 1924, says: Salaulatie Juris Taube ar Elwiru Anastasiju Bumburi. Same day, under Miruschi, you read Elza Taube dz. Ozole, 22 g. w.
Could it be that Karlis Bumburs was baptized Carl Otto?
