I did the research into my family 2 years ago. I had to look up my references to check and found the following entry. It is from a record of the South African National Archives in Cape Town. I think you might be correct with the birthday as it is not stated in the notes below. Other than that I can't verify that my info is 100%.

My copy "The Murray Family Register 1794 - 1977" has Amelia Jane Bailie's d.o.b. 31 May 1844 and her date of death 14 April 1914 to add to you information.

Thanks Carolle. There is a 2010 Register - and it will probably have the same dates. I don't have a copy, but will get hold of one. If the death date has been misprinted, perhaps it could be amended for the next register.
