oh yeah... heres a discussion with one of our relatives from ancestry. i dont know if she is still alive as the conversation is from 2000 but, she seemed very knowledgeable. (irene hill) she mentions my granadmother ellen and states she is still alvie. we just buried her yesterday. she passed on 1-2-13 may she rest in peace.

Jeff, I don't know whether or not you are of the same line of Flemings in Georgia, but my grandfather's name was John Fleming, he was married to Emma Harris, His father's name was Isreal Fleming and his wife's name was Easter Jane Drury, Whose mother's name was Elizabeth Rachel Mills. That's the only Rachel, I can trace. Do you know any of the Flemings still living in Geogia. possilby William Fleming and his sister whose name is Emma Easter. They had twin sisters named Helen and Ellen. Ellen is still living, and is in Cincinnati, Ohio.
My grandfather John Fleming had 9 children, 4 boys, and 5 girls: Missie, Louise, Beatrice,Shange, and Marie. Boys: John (Coli), Harvey (shot),Rufus also known as Ruth,Columbus, and peg, because he had a peg leg. So I hope this will help you and Me both."
