According to my late father in law, Christian Willem Broderick (Broodryk), his great grandfather CWF Broodryk was buried in Windsorton in 1821.

Correction: The date should be 1921. A number of Broodryk relatives lived in that area at that time, having been drawn there by the prospect of making an income out of the booming diamond industry. There are 2 Broodryk graves in the local cemetery.
