I am doing a family tree ending with Bertha Swigard (born in Kiechelensberger, Freiburg, Baden, Germany, 1883, died in New Jersey in 1965). I have found a cluster of Swigards in the 1600's and 1700's from Kiechelensberger, Freiburg, Baden, Germany, but the link is broken and then picked up again in Albert (1845-?) and Magdelena (1849-1946).
Any information would be most helpful!
