William M Lean - William M. Lean birthdate

Check listed 1/6/1826 birthdate of William M. Lean against Purdy record showing date of 5//1/1826 (p. 16, first paragraph). Other information from Purdy text corroborates his birth locale of Truro, Nova Scotia. But "a visit to the genealogical library in Truro indicated that many of the records were lost in a fire."
