I do agree that it was disconcerting to have received that message. However, as I know so little (basically nothing) about the merge, MyHeritage, and the path being worked out management, I decided not to get my feathers ruffled, until additional information becomes available. The statement makes one tend to believe that MyHeritage is the dominant of the two newly minted partners and are eventually going to be completely running the sites according to their rules and regulations. If Geni was going to remain an autonomous business we would not be subjected to the rules and regulations of MyHeritage. I would expect Geni to be releasing additional information in the near future.
