Samuel Lafayette Masters was my great grandfather. He was born on March 1, 1848 in Franklin Co., Indiana and died Dec. 27, 1915 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He married Eliza Frances Stott on July 1, 1873 in Washington Co., Oregon. Their daughter Lille Frances Masters was born Jan. 16, 1873 in Cowiche, Yakima Co., Washington. Their son Carl Francis (Franklin) Masters was born March 4, 1891 in Cowiche, Yakima Co., Washington was my grandfather.

It's good to meet you cousin. I've heard my Dad & Uncle talk about visiting their cousin Jesse McLean, who I believe is your grandfather.

I will do that. My maternal grandfather is James Forrest McLean son of Jared Sylvester McLean son of Thomas Ashton McLean.
