I am Dogan (Nissim) Davit Akman(Aseo) born in Istanbul,Turkey
1. Son of Davit Aseo born in Inebolu in 1911 and passed away in Canada in 1982, who:
a) was orphaned when he was about two and lived thereafter in Balat until he married;
b) in 1938 married Ines (Mazalto) [de] Taranto, born in Istanbul in 1918. My mother’s family moved from Edirne to Istanbul after the second Balkan war; and
c) had two siblings named Leah (Lilly)(deceased, d.o.b 1910) and Itzhak (deceased, d.o.b 1913),
i) Leah married Abdullah Selvi.
ii) Itzhak never married.
2. A grand-son of Nisim Aseo born circa. 1874 in Istanbul and passed away circa.1925, who
a) in 1908 married in Istanbul Vida Levi (born circa. 1874 and passed away circa.1936) daughter of Leah Levi by her second marriage (Leah formerly married to one Citton); and
b) together with his wife, are buried at the Haskoy
