s Bothurname kempinski

I am researching the above surname. I am related to them on my maternal side. my great-grandfather name was leobel kempinski who was born on 24 september 1845 in kempen, prussia. he had arround 9 siblings and his parents were moses kempinski and freydel polak. kempen is now called kepno and is located in poland. His grandparents were abraham and hanna kempinski. some of his siblings were abram, baruch, mindel, jacob kempinski. some of them went to america. I know ar least jacob(jay kemp) and a sister settled in fort worth, tx. Another of his brothers went back to germany and founded a place which served drinks and food and then became a hotel. another brother, abe kempinski settled in wellsville, mo. both my great-grandfather, who changed his name from leobel kempinski(lee Kempinsky) and abraham kempinsky served in the same company, F group, 49th on the union side from missouri.
